Climbing at Indy Wall

Having had to get up and get going much earlier than recent weeks, there has at least been a couple of good sunrises. Getting up in the dark has felt a little disorientating, but worth it for moments like this.

As well as a couple of days in the climbing wall, teaching students and catching up with friends, I've been helping to sort through, reorganize and update the equipment stores, which is a big project to have embarked on! After an evening at the Beacon Wall with Dave, where the steep lead walls got me exceptionally pumped, today was spent at the Indy Wall on Anglesey. Having had two weeks of climbing by the sea, being indoors on an artificial wall felt like a completely different sport! Strong scenes from the students today though, with us all top-roping 7a grade climbs while it rained out on the crags....
