With a weather forecast of 'damp and murky' across the National Park, I thought I might be climbing indoors today. However, on closer inspection, it looked like there might be a few small areas of brightness. We took a short walk up to a great viewpoint find out.
It was a gamble worth taking! It was T-Shirt weather at times, while a fellow mountaineering instructor texted to say he was battling his way along grib goch in the wind and rain!
Amazingly, we watched as rain clouds passed by all around us, but my group and I were able to stay dry all day.
Late in the afternoon, it looked like we might be pushing our luck, but we still made it back to base before the heavens opened.
