Had a little adventure down in the forest today, amongst the trees and boulders. I was teaching a group of young students and taking them on their first rock climbing experience. We started off by exploring the boulders in the woods near Llanberis. The classic boulder problems are too hard for most mortals here, but it was a great place to explore and scramble around. Really picturesque and tranquil.
Later we found a bigger cliff to climb, up above the trees, where the views across to Snowdon were first class! T-Shirt weather in the direct sunlight...
