Thirteen Years

We're always keen for a celebration. Birthdays, anniversaries, reminiscences, days off - any excuse really - I think people really should celebrate more; it's fun and there's even scientific research to back up the positive effects this can have on you.  So seeing as it's been thirteen years since Clare and I got together, we decided to take a celebratory trip to mark the occasion. We've been following various weather forecasts over the last week, and as the UK wasn't looking too good, we jumped on a flight to Spain instead!

Arriving in the ghost town of Alicante Airport, it was clear to see that we were 'off-peak' travellers. It was a bit spooky actually.

Within the space of half a day, we'd exchanged a dull and drizzly Wales, with a palm tree lined boulevard and an amazing appartment on the 9th floor that over looked the sea. Magic! An anniversary to remember.
