I've been a North Wales tourist today! A good friend from Africa showed up unexpectedly last night and had the afternoon free today, so we hooked up for a tour of the National Park! Ice creams and Pete's Eats for sustenance, while touring the sights and shops! A great way to catch up with each others news. We even tried to take the train up Snowdon, but it was full, then took a look at Zip World which was also busy. It's been another stunner day up here, so by evening, Clare and I were ready for a cool down in our local swimming spot.
Such a tranquil place...
Despite the looks, it was actually pretty cold still - I didn't last long! - But it was very refreshing!
A short walk later and we were back at The Cottage for a chilled glass of wine and some alfresco dining. Nice, nice, nice...
