Bolting, Climbing & Skating

Spent this morning adding a bolted belay to the top of a small quarry near Llandudno so that we can use the cliffs below to do some abseiling. It's a neat little crag, with a convenient ledge to take off from and with a slightly overhanging cliff below it. I'm keeping it's exact location quiet, so that it doesn't get overused!

Putting in the Abseil Bolts
After a bit of staff training on the new abseil site, we checked out another crag that has been bolted near the little Orme. You park by this crazy old sign, which probably sets the tone and style for a visit to Llandudno! I'm sure it looked very classy a few year ago... Anyway the crag has about 6 routes, and 3 lower-offs. It's close to the road so a bit noisy, but ok for a quick hit..

Welcome!
On the way home, I stopped off at the Skate park for a little roll around. It's a beautiful spot, looking out to Anglesey, and always quiet. Still a bit gripped about the half pipe drop in, but landing more ollies than last time!
