With a couple of hours free this afternoon, we dashed over to the quarries to get a climb in. A hurried exit from our kit store meant that on arrival at the base of the cliff, it soon transpired that we hadn't brought all the correct kit with us! It's been a month or so since we last went climbing and you could tell! Clare nipped up to the top of the cliff and threw down a rope instead.
To be honest, having a nice snug top-rope was a nice way to re-acquaint ourselves to hanging onto tiny slate edges. The rock felt good and warmed from the sun.
Once we'd both climbed a pitch, we took a few moments to savour the views, before heading off. Me down to Llanberis and Clare to Mid-Wales.
