Christmas Dinners

Over the last few days I've been on a bit of a cross country Christmas Dinner tour! And where we had no time for dinners, we at least hooked up with friends for some pretty fun Christmas drinks of some kind.

After getting down to London, we met up with Andy for a Mexican Christmas lunch in Covent Garden, before heading across town in time for a walk in the park with James and The Nipper before dark. After scoring some free pastries (it's all in the wonky smile!), at the park cafe and a coffee at the house, that same evening we settled down for some fine dining cooked up by Chris and washed down with Champagne!

The next day, was spent at Fort Martin recovering from the rigours of the city! Luckily for us, it's a fine establishment for such activities and as it was such a nice day, we took a stroll down the lane to 'Grandad's Tree'. I still don't know how Londoners maintain the stamina and finance to sustain such a lifestyle. Exhausting stuff, but great fun in short bursts.

After meeting a school friend for coffee in the afternoon, the cousins started to arrive at The Fort for our 'Pre-Christmas' Christmas Dinner. This time, we had the full traditional spread and my first (and possibly last) Brussels Sprouts of the season! Cheers!

And even some flaming Christmas Pudding for desert too!

And of course, some classic portraits for the family album...

And now off to somewhere completely different!.....
