A Little Taste of Summer

Went to the most sheltered and crag with the sunniest aspect today for a little taste of summer in February! Warm rock and short sleeves all day!

We had the place to ourselves for a very chilled day in the sun, having left home with a hard frost on the ground and ice on the cars.

We even took an abseil rope to leave in place, which gave us a quick way down between climbs.

In the distance (behind the tree), is the peak we climbed last week (Moel Siabod).

The light was spectacular as the sun started to dip.

There were even little lizards out in the sun!

We left, at sunset as the temperatures started to drop again!
