An awe-inspiring couple of days on one of the best cliffs I've ever sport climbed at - and some incredible animal encounters too! The photos here seem to have muddled themselves into a mix of orders, but you'll get the idea from the pictures. Driving here is never dull...
The compact limestone is perfect. So solid and so sharp!! Our fingers are in shreds!
Evening swims to cool off have been necessary over the last few days. This is around 6pm.
Sore toes from tight rock boots as well as sore fingers!
This is the main cave of Can Baba - the main crag on the Indian Man Cliffs. We climbed on the left - until it gets really steep!
Also did my first 7a (aka hard!) outdoor climbs in a while!
This cliff is on the other side of the valley - it's about 180m high and hopefully we'll climb in later in the week?....
The cave flowstone and tufas were incredible works of art.
Some routes (9a+!!) go to the roof of the cave!
There was a lot to lake in - moments of real awe and wonder at the natural world.
Spot the climber on the left. We met a few here - A Turkish, French and Russian team.
This is the longest tufa (black streak on the left) I've ever seen!
Succulents grow in every crevice.

And best of all! As we drove along the dusty road to get to the cliff, we came across a couple of tortoise crossing the road! Astonishing! What a real treat. Never seen that before!
