We're now officially 'on the road'! We packed up our belongings from the luxurious Boorman Residence this morning and got a ride with Ian back into the city to pick up the van that will be our home for the summer (well, winter technically I suppose).
Thanks to more outrageously generous hosting, Ian took us right to the depot, before we said our goodbyes. (Thanks again Ian!).
Before hitting the road, our first port of call was a big shopping mall, where we stocked up on essential supplies as well as a few luxuries to see us through the next few weeks...
This took a bit longer than anticipated, so we didn't quite make it all the way to Mt Arapplies as hoped, but instead we are now camped up near a quiet lake (which incidentally is near a place called Windemere!) and just getting ready for our first night onboard! Excited!!
