It's been the first morning in a while that I've not been racing out of bed to get somewhere! Instead, we had a leisurely start with some planning time over a coffee on the sofa.
After hooking up with some friends in the village, we watched the Felinheli Carnival go past and enjoyed a bit of festival time down by the straits. Bands, food, friends and plenty of sunshine. Nice way to spent a Saturday after such a busy week or two.
Then around mid-afternoon, we met some other friends down at the beach for a surf.
What a stunning afternoon to be catching waves! Not a cloud in the sky and the water felt warm. The waves weren't massive, but we all caught some really good rides. I even managed a few good cut backs which I was really chuffed about! We were in the water over two hours and could have stayed longer has we not been so tired! A fantastic day that really reminded us how nice north Wales can be when the weather is good!
