Rackhouse Pilfer - Live in Bangor

Friends of ours had invited us to a gig in Bangor this evening. To keep an element of surprise, we had no idea what sort of music we were turning up to. We weren't disappointed - we had a fantastic evening listening to the band (called Rackhouse Pilfer) who were super lively and put on a great show.

The venue was packed, so we watched the first half of the performance at the top of the stairs, at the back of the crowd, but after the interval we got reunited with our friends. They had been given a big leather sofa on the side of the stage to sit at (as she is on crutches!) - Naturally, we all snuggled up and enjoyed literally a stage side view of the performance from the best (and comfiest) seat in the house!

It was a great end to what had been a pretty hectic day. I'd been out in the woods (where we planted 87 willow tree saplings) as well as on the North Wales coastal path. We only just had time to eat something before arriving at the gig a few minutes after it had started. Arriving into the venue was like being transported into a different world and the musicians were so amazing to watch that all traces of the day were forgotten about while we were entertained.
