Went off in search of the crags above Betws y Coed today. Thankfully, I was with John as he knew how to get to the cliff tops! I got pretty lost in the woods last time I visited here, so he drew the group a sketch map of how to get there!
Overcast, but just about dry today for our introduction to abseiling. We are training some students to try and get them ready for an expedition this summer.
We started off on some very gentle slopes, to work out and practice the mechanics of it all, then set off over the intimidating cliff edge as a finale. Good learning and progression.
