The Little Orme

More snow has fallen down to some quite low levels and every now and then a mega sleet/hail shower gets dropped by the passing clouds. After watching a car slide off the road on the way to work, we decided that any outdoor education activities were going to have to set out on foot from Llandudno. This was a real shame given that my planned day was 'mountaineering'! I was at least well dressed for the artic temperature at were present as we hiked over to the summit of the Little Orme. The seals in the bay were still up for sunbathing, between the showers!

It was great to watch the squalls roll in from out to sea (although not so great when they hit us!)

The summit photos make it look rather warm, but it was desperately cold up there, despite being below the snow line.

Good use of the day, even if it was slightly disappointing not to be up in the snow!
