As the Welsh ski slopes melted away, we took one last walk down to the river, which was rapidly rising up and over the banks! Heavy rain and an overnight rise temperatures to some 15°C warmer have seen off the early winter. No time for kayaking this time though!
All was calm for the winter solstice in Loddington.
Had time for a bit of table tennis action before the main festivities commenced.
Warmed up with the sun set too!
And practiced my super powers with James, who can throw a pretty good fireball now!
Graeme, Walter, Michelle, Tracey and Chris all gathered for the Loddington ‘pre-Christmas’ Christmas Dinner! After a few years of missing this tradition, it was great to get the gang assembled again!
Then to finish things off, we even got involved with some Carol singing outside the village church.
