Slate and Surf Re-acquaintance

Getting back into the groove of Cottage life. Between hacking through the jungle of a garden (knee high lawns and double size hedgerows!), we been able to pop out and sample some of the local activities, such as climbing in the Llanberis slate quarry.

And checking the beach on Anglesey. We were led to believe it would be good surf conditions, but the forecast wasn't super accurate and although there were some big waves, it was a bit messy and chaotic in the water, with no clean lines.

Was still good to get in for a bit though and meet some friendly faces along the way to compare summer travels with.
