The Cottage garden has been in bloom while we've been away.
It's been good to check out the local scenes again and enjoy a home comforts at a very leisurely pace.
We've not travelled too far over the bank holiday, to keep away from any crowds (if there were any!).
However, I did nip onto the island yesterday as there was a good surf forecast. It was busy at the beach, but the sea is plenty big enough to accommodate a lot of surfers!
Caught up with my friend Si afterwards and had a coffee with him and his resident Owls!
Everything is bursting into life around here....
