A bluebird Dartmoor day! What a corker! Hardly a breath of wind and plenty of folk up at Sheepstor enjoying the warm granite climbing.
We had a work around a few other groups, but everyone found something to do - even if it was just enjoying the views.
We made it to the shop in Yealverton, just before it shut and after having an icecream in the cool shade of a tree on the village green, we walked into Foggintor Quarry, armed with a pizza oven and plenty of pizzas to cook. There were newts in the lake there!
They were fun to watch gliding around in the water.
Matt came over to visit and share a pizza as we spent the evening, chatting, bouldering and cooking up pizza (well, actually, Leo cooked the pizzas!)
It was an overcast evening, but as we were walking away, the sun suddenly shone through giving a few amazing moments of light. A real stunner to finish on!
