The skies have been cloud free for a few days now, but the wind arrived on Saturday. After the tranquil moonlit vibe the night before, Saturday felt like a hurricane was blowing through the valley. The planned sea kayaking trip was aborted and we attempted a down wind sail on the lake instead. It turned out to be far too windy to sail, but we shot down the lake, bouncing over large waves in a matter of minutes! All rather exciting!
Sunday was much more mellow! I took a group back up to the Conwy Valley to try a 'Phone-free Sunday' activity. It was really nice to hang out, chat, cook and play guitar.
All finished with a short hike up the local peak in the last of the light.
