There are lambs in the valley! A sure sign of Spring making it's presence know. We took a short ride around the hill to get a different view today. It looks warm in the photos, but there was still ice on the puddles and even though there was barely any wind, you certainly felt the chill even in the sun.
We took it slowly and enjoyed the views and remarkable solitude of the mountains.
We had a few vague plans about climbing a peak or two, but having found a sheltered and sunny spot to lay down, settled on kicking back and watching the clouds move overhead instead. We had a big flask of hot drink, plenty of food with us, so both felt rather content to call this our high point of the day.
