The mountains above The Cottage continue to be buried in fresh fluffy snow and although it feels more Spring-like in the valley today, the surrounding summits have taken on a Himalayan feel.
Unfortunately, I have been computer bound all day, but did nip up the road to stand in the sunshine for a few minutes after lunch. Feeling the sun on my skin felt like a healing tonic and the views lifegiviing.
It was easy to imagine that I was stood in the foothills of the greater ranges or looking out over to the edge of a Patagonian icecap.
On the otherside of the valley, we could just about make out or sledding tracks off the summit of this peak!
