Horsing around

It's been a bit cold, damp and gloomy compared to what we've been used to this week. Temperatures have even dropped briefly to single figures and the big jackets have had to come back out of the winter storage box! Even got the fire lit one evening! We've both had a very busy week of online meetings, lessons and other engagements, but between the showers we've nipped out when we could. Up at the meadow, we seem to have got a new resident horse.

He seemed a very friendly chap and very keen for fresh grass. It was interesting to see how they munch the grass, but manage to work their way around the flowers. Surprisingly dexterous.

Every now and then, we've had a glimpse of the mountains, which have been up in the clouds for a change, but otherwise, we've just been plugging away indoors.
