With the time and inclination to explore locally, we are still being surprised by the different paths and views we can find from the front door. Even during our period of exercise today, we saw completely new views, followed new paths and didn't come across a single other person.
Given the temperatures and exertion of our recent bike rides, we were quite happy to stay in The Cottage garden for most of the day.
Apart from a few sheep, there was barely a sound out and about.
The Gorse here is in full bloom and smelt nice.
More evening badminton, alfresco dining and a rock climbing themed 'pub quiz' online with friends, rounded off a very holiday-esque kind of a day.
