Nocturnal Climbing at Cala Fuili

Just for the adventure of it, we went climbing under cover of darkness this evening at Cala Fuili.

It had been overcast all day, but the moon appeared for a bit while we were climbing. Otherwise, the only light was that from our headtorches. It was all rather exciting really.

The whole day had been overcast, with drizzly rain. Not enough to really drench us, but enough to soak the crags and stop us from climbing. We spent the day doing a hike along the coast to the famous beach of Cala Luna.

The rain had turned the trail into a bit of a mud bath with mage for slow going, but we made it there in the end.

The caves on the beach are superb.

We spent a while exploring and some of the group had a swim too.

Just as we were about to leave, we discovered a little cafe in the forest, where we got a drink which helped to pick up the pace for the return journey!

After getting back to camp, we just had time to cook and eat before heading back out in the dark! A long day!....
