A break in the recent damp weather was perfectly timed for meeting Clare back at Penmaenbach Quarry for some fresh bolt clipping.
On 'The Level Below', there are about ten new routes that have been recently bolted. The rock is sharp and angular, although the grip is fantastic on the rough surfaces. We climbed a good couple of routes while enjoying the views out to sea and the relative tranquility after each having had a manic morning. Nice to be out...
