Castle Inn Quarry

I had a different kind of rock climbing session today, up at Castle Inn Quarry. Some of my students are heading off this summer on their own rock climbing trip, so asked me to do an informal assessment on their skills to make sure they are ready to be out on their own! They had all their own kit and I let them get sorted and lead a route each, after a check on their technical lowering off skills. I didn't even get my harness on! It was really nice to see the psych and hear all about their trip plans.
