I've been teaching navigation today on the low hills of the North Wales coastline. The high peaks of the Snowdonia National Park were taking a battering with strong winds and some fresh snow fall. After a soaking early on, it stayed windy, but eventually the sun broke through later in the afternoon.
The views from these coastal peaks never fails to impress. From the blustery summits, the sea looked pretty choppy but the towns of Conwy and Llandudno are laid out like a map below - so perfect for introductions to map work!
