Early afternoon storms forced us down early today from up on the ridge of the Col Rosa. It's a cool little isolated peak just north of Cortina and our campsite. It was a really steep climb up the east side of the peak (and there's an impressive via Ferrata on the south face). It was hot and sweaty, but got us high quickly!
As the rain arrived, we made the most of the afternoon exploring the village of Cortina and sampled a bit of local ice cream!
