A cold, bleak day to be messing about in boats, but managed to have some good fun despite the bitter temperatures. Not being much of a sailor myself, it was a rather novel day, doing some safety training up at Llyn Brenig sailing club.

After wading through a lot of mud, in order to get afloat, we spent the morning having some 'driving lessons' in the power boats and learning various manoeuvres. All part of my James Bond training...
We retired to the club house to warm up and have lunch, then I got taken for a spin in a sailing boat, which was equally good fun as well as shiveringly cold!
